William (Billy) Johnson
Born in Trenton, NJ July 3, 1957 and passed away on December 24, 2023 in Jefferson Bucks Hospital with a good friend by his side listening to Elvis.
Billy was a man who traveled in many circles including the Elks and Hibernian Clubs. He had many friends and was known for those baby blue eyes, jokes and "That Laugh."
Billy was a flooring expert in life. He was a golden glove recipient during his boxing career, he was known as Billy "Van" Johnson. His go to place for fun and relaxation was the Poconos. In the Poconos he was known for his huge bonfires and always out looking for bears.
Son of the late Reggie and Peachy Johnson, brother of the late Rosalie and Gary Johnson, Billy is survived by his longtime fiance Terri Rizzo and grandchildren he helped raise Ryder and Giavana Holcombe. His step-children, Frankie and wife Amy, Tonya and Roxane Rizzo. His grandchildren Cayden Blizzard, Sara, Alexander and Jon-Jon Rizzo. His aunt Gail Morrison and aunt Paula and her husband John Hendrie, his cousin Billy Lee and Mark Jones, as well as many other cousins
Billy was predeceased by his parents Reggie and Peachy Johnson as well as his siblings Rosalie and Gary Johnson.
Funeral Services will be held on January 8, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton. A brief prayer service will be held at 1 p.m. with local clergy officiating.
