John Salvatore Zucchetti, 66, of Chambersburg section of Trenton, entered into God’s care Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. John was a graduate of St. Joachim’s Grammar School, he attended Cathedral High School, until its closing, and graduated from St. Anthony’s High School, Class of 1973. John continued his education at Mercer County Community College and graduated from Trenton State Teachers College with a Bachelor’s Degree. John was employed by New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company, then was self-employed with Zucchetti’s Cleaning Service for many years. In his leisure time, John enjoyed repairing and restoring old vacuum cleaners, he loved to cook, bake, and watch old television shows, especially I Love Lucy. John also enjoyed and was devoted to working the elections for Mercer County Board of Elections. He was a loving son, loyal husband, fantastic father and a devoted friend. John will always be remembered for his peaceful personality, and pleasant smile. John’s memory was impeccable, he remembered many stories though the years with great detail and reminisced frequently. His stories were captivating and will be missed by all. John was strong in his faith and devoted his life to Christ. Predeceased by his parents, Benedetto “Ben” and Rosalie “Lillian” (Sinatra) Zuchetti, his aunts and uncles, Catherine and Otti Moscetti, Louise and Ben Ciavatta, Diamond Zucchetti, Nick and Rose Sinatra, Mary (Sinatra) Barber and John “Jack” Tohill, his cousins, Barbara (Sinatra) Noone, Kathy (Leone) Bliszcz, Annamarie (Moscetti) Williams and Terry Zucchetti, He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Donna (Pasquito) Zucchetti; one daughter Katherine Ann Zucchetti; two aunts and an uncle, Sally (Sinatra) Tohill, Robert Barber and Mary Zucchetti; his cousins, Joanne Leone, Patricia Parliament, Cynthia Tohill, Anthony Zucchetti and wife Sue, Thomas Zucchetti and wife Philomena, and John Moscetti; also survived by many other dear family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am on Monday, November 2nd at D'Errico Funeral Chapel, LLC, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ, located in Buklad Merlino Facility. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Avenue in Hamilton.
