James C. Bates

James C. Bates, 62, of Hamilton, passed away March 20, 2019.
Mr. Bates retired from the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission. He was a parishioner of St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish. He was also a car enthusiast.
Son of the late Thomas A. and Mary (Dettmar) Bates, James is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Ronald Pollack of Hamilton. 
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad St., Hamilton. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St., Hamilton. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
