CARMEN TESTA OBITUARY

TRENTON -- Carmen Anthony Testa, 45, entered into eternal life on Monday in Compassionate Care Hospice, St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.

Born in Trenton, Carmen was a lifelong area resident.

He was employed by several area businesses during his lifetime such as Public Service Electric & Gas, United States Postal Service, City of Trenton, Department of Housing and most recently, the State of New Jersey, Department of Community Affairs.

Camen will be remembered as a kind, gentle, private man who was very loved and respected by his family and friends.

Carmen is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Carmine and Margaret Abarno Testa and his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Angelina Garafalo Mercurio; and aunts and uncles,

He is survived by his parents, Anthony W. and Marie Mercurio Testa of Trenton, his paternal aunts and uncles, Lucille, Mildred, and Antoinette Testa, and Cosmo, Gino, and Joseph Testa, all of Trenton; his maternal aunts and uncle, Immaculate A. Fruscione of Hamilton, and Antonio and Emily Mercurio of Forked River.

Carmen is also survived by many cousins and very close friends who adored him, many of which he considered family, especially Joseph Damiano and his family of Trenton, and Dolly and John Rose of Hamilton Township.

He will be sadly missed by all of them.

Special thanks to the staff of Compassionate Care Hospice especially Lisa Gerstenacker and the staff of Hamilton-Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home for the special care they gave to Carmen.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 540 Chestnut Ave., Trenton.

Friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Commital services will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
