1957 - 2016

WINCHESTER, NH - Raymond C. Williams, 59, resident of Winchester, NH died on December 15, 2016 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital, Lebanon, NH after a sudden illness. Born in Fort Dix, NJ he was a graduate of St. Anthony High School (McCorristin Catholic High School) Class of 1975 and went on to serve his country in the US Army, 101st Airborne. Ray then graduated from the Burlington County Police Academy and worked for 25 years for the Florence Township Police Department, the Department of Corrections from 1983 to 1986, the Department of Justice overseas for Anti-Terrorist programs and most recently at Keene State College Dining Service. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, photography, playing pool and spending time with his dog, Cinta. Son of the late Raymond and Katherine (Boyle) Williams, he is survived by his daughters; Lisa M. Williams, Kelly Williams and Sara Williams, his brother; Timothy Williams, his cousin; Katherine Simmington of NH, and his aunt; Betty Ridgeway. A gathering to celebrate Ray’s life will be 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, December 27 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Services will be Wednesday morning 10 am at the funeral home with interment following in Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
