Donna Pellitiere (Savino Brooks) - Class Of 1975

Danna Savino Brooks, 51, passed away Monday in the University Medical Center at Princeton after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Born in Trenton, she lived in various parts of the United States, most recently in Basking Ridge, before moving to Princeton Junction two years ago.  Donna received her B.S. in Marketing from Rider University and a master's degree of Library and Information Science from Rutgers University.  She was emplyed by ETS of Princeton since January 2006 as an information specialist.  In 2007 she received the ETS Presidential Award.  She was the lead author winning first place with an article for the Babson Working Knowledge Storytelling Contest.  She was president elect of the Princeton/Trenton Chapter of Spcial Libraries Association as well as a volunteer instructor for the American Society for Information Science and Technology.  Donna was an avid gardener and loved to cook.  She was predeceased by her father Samuel J. Pellitiere.  She is survived by her husband Curtis Brooks and her daughter Patrece Savino of Princeton Junction; her stepchildren Lauren Brooks, who is currently attending the University of Miami (FL), and Adam Brooks, who is currently attending Syracuse University; her mother Mary L. Pellitiere of Manchester Township; her sister Diana Keck and her partner Thomas Everist of Hamilton Township; a niece, Cheryl Keck of Orlando, FL and nephew Brandon Keck of Ewing Township; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  A Memorial Mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 214 Nassau Street, Princeton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245, or on-line at www.pancan.org.  Arrangementes are under the direction of the Kimble Funeral Home, One Hamilton Avenue, Princeton.
