It is with great sadness that the family of Mitchell R. Mastrangelo Jr. announces his passing after a brief illness, on May 6, 2019, at the age of 64 years. Son of Mitchell and Dolores Mastrangelo, Mitch was a lifelong resident of the Trenton area. He loved gardening, home improvement projects, watching movies and playing video games. He retired as a civil engineer from Van Note Harvey Associates in December 2016 after many years working on various Princeton University projects, and was known as the "grading master" in the office. Mitch will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Susan, and his daughters, Christine (James) Yeatman and Jennifer (Rob) Mastrangelo. He is also survived by his three granddaughters, Adelynn, Mackenzie, and Paige. Mitch will also be forever remembered by his extended family and dear friends. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ, saulfuneralhomes.com. Cremation services will be private.
