Lou ( Lutz as we sometimes called him ) was a good lad. We used to play basketball together every day after school in the spring and throughout the summer. Lou, myself, Al Rhodes and Danny McDonald. We had some good times. Lou was living in Kansas soon after graduation, got married and started a family. One day a few years after graduation, Bob Pollack and I stopped in the Ivy Tavern on Broad Street. Wouldn't you know, there was Lou with his 2 younger brothers Mike & Steve. We hung out that night and drank a whole bunch of brews... had a good time. He was staying with his parents at the time. I dropped him off at home that night. Turns out, that was the last time I saw him..... almost 30 years ago now. Another one of the good guys that left us all too soon.
